Frequently asked questions

Can I use teleradiology to implement a contract with the National Health Fund?

Of course – using our services, you can implement a contract with the National Health Fund, both in the field of Hospital and Outpatient Specialist Care. This is possible thanks to registering Telediagnosis in each of the Provincial branches of the National Health Fund.

What is the difference between DICOM integration and HL7?

DICOM integration is the basic method of integration – using this connection, you send tests to Telediagnosis for description in teleradiology mode. From the level of the system provided by Telediagnosis, you create an order and track its status until the result is returned electronically signed by the radiologist. HL7 integration is an advanced method of integration, where the teleradiology system works “in the background”, and you perform all activities from the level of your own RIS system.

What are the costs of HL7 integration?

HL7 integration is a more expensive method of integration than DICOM. The final price of integration is based on two components – the costs incurred by the teleradiology system provider – which is fixed and can be quickly estimated, and the costs incurred by the provider of your RIS system – for costs, please contact your system provider directly.

How long does installation take at your facility?

In the case of choosing DICOM integration, installation at your facility is quick and efficient. After accepting the terms of the agreement, we will install the necessary equipment at your facility and conduct comprehensive staff training within 5 business days. In the case of choosing HL7 integration (temporary launch of rapid DICOM integration), we are dependent on the deadline of your system supplier. The standard deadline is from 14 to 60 days.

What examination modalities can be described in the teleradiology system?

We describe the full range of examinations: X-ray, CT, MRI and MMG/MMG screening.

Is there a minimum number of examinations that we must order per month for description in the teleradiology system?

No, by establishing cooperation with Telediagnosis, you do not commit to a specific number of ordered examinations. As a teleradiology company, we support you in difficult situations, including during the holiday season.

When is your technical and substantive support available?

As a company setting new standards in the field of teleradiology, we are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer full substantive and technical support, we do not leave you with a problem even if the fault is not on our side.

What research priorities do you describe in the teleradiology system?

As a leader in the teleradiology market in Poland, we provide descriptions in Planned, Urgent and CITO priorities – providing on-duty coverage for over 60 A&E unito throughout the country.
